We are a satirical news website…
… AND are responsible, helpful and Constitutionally protected!
In case you haven’t heard the buzz, welcome to our satirical news haven. It’s not exactly a revelation of biblical proportions, but it’s pretty darn exciting, so buckle up for the backstory of how we transformed from a dignified century-old Texas newspaper into the riotous realm of satire you’re feasting your eyes on now.

Our tale begins in the hallowed halls of a newspaper, The Giddings Deutsches Volksblatt, that had been the pillar of Texan journalism for over a century, capturing the zeitgeist with the solemnity of a seasoned scribe. But as fate would have it, the relentless onslaught of a F5 Texas tornado penned a plot twist we couldn’t ignore, nudging us toward an unexpected hiatus.
Rising from the destruction of the storm, we didn’t just make a comeback; we reinvented ourselves. With a new domain in hand and a fresh nameplate, we shrugged off our old skin. The editorial board, in a moment of epiphanic clarity (or madness, depending on who you ask), declared, “To heck with it!” and plunged headlong into the uproarious world of satire, where seriousness meets its match.
Now, stumbling upon truth in our articles is akin to finding a needle in a haystack—a serendipitous accident at best.
Hunting for a gig? We’ve got a peculiar penchant for trained journalists. After all, who else has the finesse to twist a news story into a pretzel of hilarity?
We might be the black sheep at Los Angeles journalist galas now, but our metamorphosis into a bastion of satire is more than a new chapter—it’s a tongue-in-cheek critique of journalism’s evolving landscape, dancing on the line between reality and absurdity.
