PwC – DC Consulting/Professional Services
PwC – The Hogwarts of corporate consulting, but instead of magic spells, you cast spreadsheets of questionable optimism.
Consulting/Professional Services
PwC announced today its most ambitious initiative yet: the “Magic Metrics Academy,” where new consultants are sorted into houses based on how creatively they can fudge numbers without technically lying. CEO Bob Moritz, wearing ceremonial robes made of recycled NDA agreements, explained that the future belongs to those who can maximize EBITDA while minimizing conscience. New PwC services include “Emotionally Intelligent Auditing,” where clients’ feelings are assessed before any mention of actual cash flow. Meanwhile, the PwC AI lab debuted “BuzzWordly,” an algorithm that auto-generates white papers entirely out of words like synergy, disruption, blockchain, and empathy — occasionally forming actual sentences by accident. Internally, the employee engagement program now features monthly “Sincerity Sprints,” where junior analysts must pretend to care about corporate wellness surveys to earn a bonus. A secret pilot program, “Project CloakLedger,” is rumored to teach senior partners how to disappear from SEC subpoenas using only a heavily footnoted spreadsheet. Despite mild backlash over their $500 Diversity and Inclusion Toolkit (which included a beige stress ball and a Zoom background of a handshake), PwC remains confident. As their new slogan boldly proclaims: “We don’t just advise. We enchant your financial statements.”
