“Influencer” Toddlers
“Get That Juice Box Out of My Shot.”
In an incident that left both childcare experts and social media managers stunned, toddler influencer Mila-Blu Bronzewitz–age two and a half–fired her nanny mid-Instagram Live after the woman dared to hand her an off-brand juice box during a sponsored fashion shoot in their nursery.
“I said organic, not tragic,” Mila-Blu shrieked, hurling a tablet at the playpen wall. Within moments, #MilaMeltdown was trending globally, and the phrase “Off-brand? Off my set!” has since been printed on 20,000 toddler-sized T-shirts.
According to her mother/manager (“momager”) Trina Bronzewitz, Mila-Blu earns $84,000 a month modeling baby couture and reviewing gluten-free finger paints. “She has brand deals with four pacifier companies and a baby yoga app. She’s a businesswoman with bangs,” Trina said, sipping a kale macchiato.
The nanny, Susan Delgado, a former Montessori teacher, was terminated on the spot and replaced by a certified toddler stylist with experience in lighting, tantrum de-escalation, and cheese cube plating. “She knows how to angle the binky just right,” Trina explained.
Child development experts are concerned. “We’re witnessing the rise of the toddler industrial complex,” said Dr. Elaine Spore. “These kids have LinkedIn profiles before they can spell ‘no.'”
Mila-Blu currently boasts 1.4 million followers and recently launched her own line of ethically sourced tiaras. She’s rumored to be dating a fellow influencer known only as “Lil Crayón,” known for his edgy Play-Doh reviews and anti-glitter rants.
Critics argue Mila’s fame has gone to her head, citing her latest vlog where she announces, “I don’t nap–I recharge.” Others say she’s just a typical toddler with an agent and stock options.
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
