Willy Wanker’s Golden Ticket Giveaway

Willy Wanker’s Golden Ticket Giveaway Sparks Class Action Lawsuit

What began as a feel-good PR stunt has curdled into a sticky legal mess. Willy Wanker’s Golden Influencer Ticket Giveaway, which promised an “immersive factory journey and ethically-sourced brand partnership opportunity,” has prompted 47 lawsuits, a congressional hearing, and three nervous breakdowns live-streamed on TikTok.

Contestants were selected not by lottery but by algorithmic vibe score, favoring those with at least 500,000 followers, symmetrical cheekbones, and strong “brand synergy with melted things.” Those chosen allege they were misled, physically caramel-glued to furniture, and forced to produce “organic unboxing reactions” under duress.

“I thought I was touring a factory,” said one plaintiff. “Instead, I was asked to reenact my own birth using chocolate syrup and an NDA.”

Wanker’s legal team responded with a flavor-themed motion to dismiss, arguing that “all participants knowingly waived human dignity in exchange for a branded keychain.”

Class members are seeking damages in the form of crypto-based nougat coins, lifetime therapy subscriptions, and the right to unionize against influencer marketing.

Meanwhile, Wanker tweeted:

“They got their exposure. Exposure is the new healthcare.”

The trial begins next month, to be livestreamed on Twitch and judged by a jury of unpaid brand ambassadors.
