“She Said She Needed to Heal Her Ancestors. Turns Out She Meant with Hot Stones and Room Service.”
Wellness influencer Andie Luna launched a GoFundMe for what she described as a “sacred, planetary pilgrimage to Bali to process inherited trauma through vegan smoothies and jungle chants.” She raised $14,238 in five days. Then she checked into a luxury resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, and posted a photo with the caption, “My soul prefers dry heat.”
Donors were outraged after seeing updates like “Spa chakra alignment complete!” and “My inner child just got a collagen facial.”
Andie claims she was guided by a voice during reiki therapy that told her “healing doesn’t require passports–just peppermint scrubs.”
GoFundMe has frozen the account. Andie insists she was spiritually redirected and is offering energy refunds “in the form of remote hugs and Instagram reels.”
She’s now launching a course called *Crowdfund Your Calling* with modules like “Monetize Your Moon Phase” and “Guilt-Free Gratitude Journaling for Profit.”
Authorities are investigating. Meanwhile, Andie is manifesting legal immunity and double rainbows.
