“This Is Not a Lawn–It’s a Battlefield.”
The Willow Creek HOA has instituted a new “Ultra Compliance Initiative” requiring all lawns to remain under 0.7 inches or face $500 fines and the public shaming of a lawn gnome tribunal.
Resident Carol Bramble was cited after her grass exceeded the limit by a quarter inch during a weekend cruise. “They measured it with a laser,” she said, weeping into a hedge.
The HOA president, a retired hall monitor, defends the policy as “anti-weedy anarchy.” Meanwhile, underground clover clubs have started in secret, offering sanctuary to outlaw lawns.
Dandelions are now classified as insurgents and removed via drone-powered weed vacuum.
