Live Podcast Recording From “Camp Nudge-Nudge” Features Guests Like Ilhan Omar, Trevor Noah, and a Confused Chicken
By Reed Chandler, Audio Culture Reporter
This week, Spotify Studios beamed from 60 feet below the surface of East L.A. to stream what may go down as the first podcast recorded entirely inside a simulated hostage tunnel.
The event, titled “Underground Frequencies: The Camp Nudge-Nudge Sessions”, was a joint promotional venture between Netflix and Spotify, and part of the larger publicity push for the dark satire Hogan’s Hostages.
In attendance: a live audience of influencers, minor diplomats, two Brooklyn rabbis, and a chicken that was later revealed to be a method actor. On the mic: Ilhan Omar, Trevor Noah, showrunner Dahlia Feigenbaum, and Bibi the goat, who communicated via hoof taps and suspicious bleating.
Tunnel Acoustics, Emotional Depth
The podcast was hosted by Eli Glassman, a satirical war correspondent turned audio therapist. Opening with goat bells and a mashup of MASH* and trap beats, Glassman welcomed guests with a single question:
“If laughter is resistance, does that make goats insurgents?”
Ilhan Omar responded with a story about being mistaken for a background actor in the pilot episode. Trevor Noah chimed in: “This show is what happens when The Daily Show mates with Black Mirror in a hummus factory.”
The Chicken Incident
Roughly 18 minutes in, a live chicken escaped its handler and flew onto Dahlia Feigenbaum’s lap mid-discussion of satire’s moral boundaries. Bibi stared it down. The audience cheered. Feigenbaum continued without blinking: “We don’t break the fourth wall here. We headbutt it.”

Spotify data analysts confirmed a 42% listener spike among anarchist zookeepers, a demographic long ignored by mainstream analytics.
Bibi Signs With WME Audio
Following the episode, Bibi the Goat reportedly signed with WME’s audio division. Her upcoming podcast, Bleat It Out, will feature interviews with disillusioned farm animals, UN officials, and one exiled AI chatbot.
The chicken declined comment.
Hogan’s Hostages is now streaming. The podcast episode will be available wherever encrypted livestock content is downloaded.
