Crystals That Don’t Work
“They Said Rose Quartz Would Heal Me. It Just Gave Me a Weird Itch and a Parking Ticket.”
Desperate for romance, Kyle Edmonds bought $87 worth of “high-frequency love crystals” from The Cosmic Corner, including rose quartz, moonstone, and something labeled “Cupid’s Geode.” He arranged them around his bed, meditated nightly, and recited affirmations like “Love is on the UPS truck.”
Instead, he was served jury duty, got ghosted twice, and developed a rash shaped like a question mark.
“I lit the candle. I charged them under the moon,” Kyle said. “All I got was a subpoena and an awkward interaction at Trader Joe’s.”
The shop claims Kyle may have “negated the vibration by microwaving burritos near the altar.”
He’s now suing for emotional fraud and demanding a refund plus “cosmic pain and suffering.”
The case has drawn attention from both spiritualists and dermatologists. One expert testified, “That’s not karma. That’s probably jalapeño grease.”
Kyle has abandoned crystals in favor of speed dating and antihistamines.
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
