Extreme Minimalists
“We Let Go of Clutter–and Also Comfort, Boundaries, and Dental Hygiene.”
In a bold step toward “radical intentionality,” lifestyle influencers Jori and Larken sold all possessions, downsized to a 112-square-foot micro-loft, and now live with one fork, a compost toilet, and no regrets–aside from the frequent oral infections.
“We believe space is an illusion and walls are just capitalist lies,” said Jori, while Larken boiled kale on a single-burner stove resting atop a ukulele.
Their kitchen doubles as a meditation corner, closet, and existential dread chamber. Their only fork is passed back and forth like a sacred relic. “It brings us closer. And it makes salad feel like a trust exercise,” said Larken.
Guests are asked to remove shoes, ego, and any opinions before entering. The couple sleeps on a rolled-up yoga mat and considers gravity “an aggressive energy.”
Jori blogs under the name @StuffIsSin and offers $199 workshops on “decluttering your karmic debt through aggressive downsizing.”
Their latest project? Converting a canoe into a floating bedroom called *Afloat With Less.*
Critics say it’s a stunt. Larken responded by disappearing into a poncho and whispering, “Maybe that’s the point.”
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
