“It’s not just a recipe,” Lulu insists. “It’s an edible journey through the soul.”
One reader reported getting emotionally attached to a character named Uncle Zeke before even reaching the flour measurements.
The recipe, once located, is just six lines and includes the cryptic instruction: “Bake until it smells like forgiveness.”
Google Scholar has indexed the post as “creative nonfiction bordering on spiritual thesis.” A literature professor at UCLA teaches it alongside *Beloved.*
