Fantasy Football Obsession
“She Played ‘Chopsticks.’ He Live-Tweeted a Trade Deal.”
Fantasy football fanatic Kyle Brenner skipped his daughter’s piano recital to watch a third-string kicker warm up on Twitch. “It wasn’t just a game,” Kyle said. “It was the Week 7 fate of House Gridiron.”
His daughter, Chloe, performed “Für Elise” to polite applause. Kyle was in the car, frantically calculating field goal averages while shouting, “May the flex position be ever in your favor!”
His wife now refers to Sundays as “Widowmaker Hours.”
Kyle co-manages five leagues, maintains a spreadsheet titled *Roster of Prophecy*, and refers to fantasy playoffs as “the festival of sacred algorithms.”
He’s been banned from two youth sports games for trying to draft local 6th graders. Kyle claims this was satire. No one laughed.
Chloe dedicated her next performance to “the real MVP: Mom’s patience.”
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
