DOJ: Trump Absent from Epstein Docs — CNN: “So You’re Saying There’s a Cover-Up?”
In an act of transparency so blinding it gave MSNBC’s legal team a nosebleed, the Department of Justice officially confirmed that Donald J. Trump is not named in the unsealed Jeffrey Epstein files.
That’s right. Not once. Not in a footnote, not in the metadata, not even scribbled in Sharpie on the back of a Dunkin’ napkin.
Naturally, this sent shockwaves through the nation’s major newsrooms — not because of what was found, but because of what wasn’t.
CNN anchor Brianna Softfocus led the network’s coverage with a powerful question:
“If Trump’s name isn’t in the files… then why does it feel like it should be?”
This was immediately followed by a panel of nine pundits, three astrologers, and a body language expert who once worked at TSA, all agreeing that the absence of evidence was, in fact, the strongest evidence yet.
“It’s classic covert narcissist behavior,” whispered a licensed trauma coach who had never met Trump but once dated a Gemini. “He removed himself from the files… to gaslight the nation.”
Meanwhile, Anderson Cooper paced slowly through a dimly lit studio, holding the DOJ’s official report like it was the Dead Sea Scrolls. “We have searched these documents. We found… silence. And in that silence, friends… we hear Trump.”
Back at MSNBC, Rachel Maddow pulled out a dry-erase board and explained how if you rearranged the dates of the file releases to form a Fibonacci sequence, and then applied them to Trump’s birthdate, it pointed to the phrase:
“The Cover-Up Is the Cover-Up.”
Not to be outdone, NPR hosted a three-part podcast called “Invisible Guilty: The Trump Omission”, where a former barista from Palm Beach recounted a time in 2001 when “a man who may have been Trump” once ordered a latte “with suspicious confidence.”
On Capitol Hill, Representative Adam Schiff declared, “The documents are so clean, they’ve been sanitized. And who do we know that likes bleach?” He then held up a Clorox bottle for dramatic effect and whispered, “Connect the dots.”
Meanwhile, DOJ officials held a brief press conference to repeat the fact that Trump is not listed anywhere in the files.
One reporter immediately shouted back, “But why not?!”
“Because he’s not part of the investigation,” the official replied. “That’s it.”
CBS went live with a special report titled:
“Trump Not in Files: The Hidden Evidence in Evidence That Doesn’t Exist.”
They then brought on a handwriting analyst to interpret the curvature of the redactions.
Even the Babylon Bee issued a warning: “You’re making it very hard to parody you people.”
At press time, CNN had reportedly assigned Don Lemon’s ghost intern to review the files backwards while listening to Pink Floyd, in hopes of uncovering a subliminal confession.

“Did Trump Bribe Reality Itself?”
