Spam Emails
“Turns Out It Was a Real Kingdom. Who Knew?”
After years of deleting spam, Rick Melvin finally responded to a prince offering “unlimited riches” in exchange for banking help. Turns out, the email was real–and now Rick lives in a small West African monarchy where he serves as “Minister of Common Sense and Junk Filtering.”
“My job is mostly deleting emails and suggesting better fonts for decrees,” Rick says. “Also, lots of parades.”
He still hasn’t received his promised millions but has amassed a strong collection of ceremonial hats and the deepest tan in Delaware history.
His family thinks he’s in witness protection. He just calls it “a lifestyle pivot.”
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
