Faced with baffling AI behavior, a desperate team of Stanford researchers has embraced the occult: using tarot cards to debug large language models.
“I tried traditional debugging tools,” said Dr. Rachel Kim, “but when Claude 3 started answering every question with a limerick about Armageddon, I had no choice but to consult the divine.”

A rival team at MIT attempted to debunk the practice but quickly converted after a session where the Ace of Pentacles correctly identified their corrupted tensor weight.
