Oversized Sunglasses

“I’m Not Hiding. I’m Reflecting Culture.”

Chicagram icon Bella Blayze has taken the oversized sunglasses trend to its inevitable absurdity, debuting a pair of lenses so massive they doubled as shade for two passersby and partially blocked traffic. “They’re not glasses,” Bella explained. “They’re a wearable eclipse.”

The frames, custom-designed by avant-garde label Retinal Disruption™, span 42 inches and are rumored to contain solar-charged Bluetooth, a kale kaleidoscope, and an app that tells you when to be smug.

“She looked like a Bond villain with a sustainable architecture minor,” said one onlooker. “Birds were resting on the rim.”

While some praise the innovation, others are less impressed. “She nearly blinded me with a reflective wink,” said cab driver Ron. “I thought I was in a sci-fi reboot of ‘My Cousin Vinny.'”

Bella insists the glasses represent “barrier consciousness” and are a protest against “visual vulnerability.”

She’s now launching a line of wearable shade structures under the brand name *EgoLens™,* including the “Introvert Visor” and “The Influencer Periscope.”

Health officials warn the weight of the glasses could cause neck collapse. Bella responded by posting a slow-motion reel captioned, “Burdened by beauty. Braced by vision.”

Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.

By Jack Handey

Jack Handey was born in the smallest town in Arizona, a place so forgotten by cartographers that locals had to mail postcards from the next county just to prove they existed. Growing up surrounded by tumbleweeds and a one-room schoolhouse that doubled as a post office, Jack developed a knack for finding absurdity in everyday life. His first audience was a group of cattle, who reportedly laughed harder than some late-night crowds. He left town with a notebook full of surreal one-liners and returned years later as a cult hero, known for his off-kilter “Deep Brain” that made Live Tonight Comedy a stranger, funnier place. Audiences describe him as “the wisdom of a desert sage filtered through a cracked cactus.” Today, Handey remains the pride of Arizona’s smallest town, proof that even the tiniest dots on the map can produce the biggest laughs.
