“Accidental” TikToks
“She Said It Just Happened. But Her Outfit Matched the Fireworks.”
High school junior Brooklyn DeLaine insists her viral TikTok–featuring a 58-second dance routine atop a hay bale during golden hour, accompanied by synchronized ducks–was “totally spontaneous.” However, behind-the-scenes footage reveals drone prep, a fog machine, and a 7-person lighting team composed of unpaid cousins.
“I was just vibing,” Brooklyn said in a follow-up post. “The rhythm hit, and I didn’t know the camera was on even though I was wearing my backup lashes and mic’d up.”
Critics pointed out that the video included three aerial zooms, choreographed glitter bursts, and a concluding pirouette timed to fireworks spelling “YAAAS.”
Brooklyn has refused to confirm or deny the ducks were trained. “They’re just super into beat drops,” she said coyly.
Her dance, dubbed *The Flock Drop,* now has over 14 million views and inspired a branded dance challenge on TikTok sponsored by an energy drink called GooseFuel.
Brooklyn has since signed with a talent agency and offers workshops titled *Authenticity for Influencers: Faking It with Feeling.*
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
