Dad Jokes Gone Too Far

“He Said ‘I Yam What I Yam’ While Holding a Sweet Potato. We Cried.”

Mike Landers, 48, has officially leaned too far into his dad joke persona. After years of weaponizing puns, he now wears a sash reading “Punlord,” refers to dinner as “Snackrificial Offerings,” and has carved a pun-based coat of arms out of plywood and dad guilt.

“He told the plumber, ‘You pipe up, I pipe down,’ and laughed for seven minutes,” said his teenage daughter. “The plumber cried.”

Family interventions have failed. Every attempt is met with, “I’m knot going anywhere, I wood never leaf you hanging.”

His wife has started responding with legal disclaimers: “This is not an endorsement of this humor.”

Mike’s latest project: *Pundamentals*, a motivational comedy seminar for divorced uncles and confused HVAC technicians.

He’s currently in talks with a sock brand for a collaboration called *Sole-Searching Wordplay™.*

Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
