Judge Blocks ICE Raids, Newsom Declares Emotional Victory
A federal judge ruled that ICE raids in Los Angeles violated constitutional protections—specifically citing the lack of reasonable suspicion and racial profiling. While Stephen Miller calmly praised the decision as “proof that the rule of law still exists,” Gavin Newsom took a more spiritual route.
Standing on a Palo Alto rooftop surrounded by sage bundles and unemployed sociology majors, Newsom announced: “This isn’t just a legal win. This is a vibrational alignment.”
His press secretary handed out dreamcatchers labeled “Due Process.”
Newsom declared “emotional victory” over ICE, even though the ruling technically affirmed legal due process—not abolished immigration enforcement. But facts, like landlords, are unwelcome in Newsom’s California.
The governor told CNN, “This ruling proves we’re moving toward a world where the Constitution is just a suggestion, like parking meters or marriage vows.”
Meanwhile, ICE agents are still enforcing federal law—just with more paperwork. Miller remarked, “Apparently Newsom thinks a restraining order is the same as a revolution.”
In response, Newsom offered emotional counseling to Californians triggered by Miller’s accurate use of the term “jurisdiction.”
He also introduced “Sanctuary Zones of Feeling,” where ICE agents are replaced by drama therapists and guilt-free sorbet.
The judge herself clarified that the decision was “about constitutional boundaries, not an emotional journey,” prompting Newsom to accuse her of “intellectual gaslighting.”
In Gavin’s California, truth is optional, but the therapy goats are mandatory.
