Essential Oil Evangelists
“She Said Tea Tree Could Kill Germs and Her Enemies.”
Health food cashier-turned-apocalypse-prepper Maureen Glade refuses modern disinfectants, opting instead for a custom essential oil blend called “Thyme Justice.” She wears a cross-body holster with ten roller bottles and a label that reads “Pharma? I hardly know her.”
“This is oregano. It cleared my sinus and my karmic debt,” she said while misting a grocery cart with lemon-myrrh spray.
Co-workers report that she spritzes the breakroom every 45 minutes and replaced the first aid kit with coconut oil and an amethyst crystal named Craig.
Her Etsy store–*Oil Be Damned*–sells blends like “Palo Santo Panic Button” and “Frankincense for Frenemies.”
Doctors are concerned. Her followers are not. One customer claimed her eucalyptus balm “opened my pores and my marriage.”
Maureen’s next project is a documentary titled *Detoxing Society: One Sniff at a Time.*
Auf Wiedersehen, amigos.
